Central Finance and Contracting Agency of the Republic of Croatia is seeking proposals for projects that will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of SMEs working in the fields of manufacturing, waste management, computer programming and technical testing through investing in new processes and new technologies including green and energy efficiency technologies, development of new products, including testing and certification, in Croatia with financial assistance from the Regional Competitiveness Operational Programme 2007 - 2011 for Community Assistance under the IPA Regional Development Component in Croatia. 

During the whole week the Turkish delegation will have the opportunity to get acquainted at first hand with the previous Croatian experience in implementation of the Regional Competitiveness Operative Programme.

On October 17-18 the third session of the Joint Committee between the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic was held in Prague.

Over seventy Croatian businessmen, representing 45 leading Croatian companies, participated in the Priština Economic Forum. The discussions were focused on investments related conditions, as well as new business arrangements with companies in Kosovo.

In the Information Centre of the European Union in Zagreb the ceremonial launching of the Project "SMEPASS" – Promotion and Provision of Advisory Services to SMEs, co-financed by the European Union under the Operative Programme for Regional Competitiveness IPA IIIc and the State Budget funds of the Republic of Croatia.

The Fifth International Conference on Clusters was organized by the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship and held on 9 May 2011 in Opatija. Together with their guests from Belgium, Austria, Macedonia, Germany, Spain, France, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Hungary the national lecturers were speaking about the European approach to clusters’ development and innovations, as well as about clusters’ financing possibilities, and about the importance of national and regional clusters’ strategies. About 150 participants of the Conference could hear the clusters’ best practices as tools for export increase.
