Investment Promotion and Export Directorate

The Investment Promotion and Export Directorate carries out administrative and professional activities related to development of investment promotion and export strategy, as well as their implementation, development of free zones, industrial zones, clusters, technological parks and districts, eliminating obstacles to investments, regional development, proposes implementation of economic policy measures aimed at increasing domestic and foreign investments for the purpose of regional development,

carries out activities related to promotion and encouraging of investment friendly environment, as well as security of investments in Croatia, participates in activities related to international projects, carries out analytical-statistical activities through assembling and exchange of economic data, proposes and follows up the regulations stipulating the investment issues, assesses and approves the investment measures, establishes and follows up the activities of free zones and warehouses, industrial zones, clusters, technological parks and districts, identifies and proposes the methods for addressing the issues in implementation of specific projects,

prepares drafts of regulations and follows up their implementation, proposes measures and activities for providing and establishing the network of support institutions, zones, centres and incubators, encourages establishing of institutional support to small entrepreneurship, connecting in integral network of support institutions aimed at development of entrepreneurship and carries out other activities within its scope.
